Judging
How Judging Works
- Cars are evaluated all weekend, not just at the lineup
- The judging panel is a team of transaxle experts
- You don't sign up. Being at 944Fest is the entry
- Sponsors may bring additional category trophies announced live
Twenty-five-plus trophies, all weekend long, a panel of transaxle experts walking the paddock with their eyes open. You don't enter. You're already in.

How It Works
The 944Fest car show isn't a concours. Our judges are everywhere, all weekend long. They're at the gas pump on Friday morning. They're at the campground when you're brushing your teeth. They're two cars back on the lunchtime parade laps.
If you brought a car to 944Fest, it's in the show. The lineup at The Gallery on Saturday afternoon is the formal end of an evaluation that started Thursday.

Saturday At The Gallery
Saturday at 2:00 PM, cars start rolling into The Gallery and lining up by model. HPDE drivers join after the day's last sessions. The judges have already done a lot of legwork, but decisions have not been made yet.
Every transaxle Porsche has its own award category. So does every weird build, every absurd swap, that car that drove 20 hours straight be here. There's a trophy for the highest mileage. One the kids vote on. One the crowd shouts about. One for whoever had the worst weekend and still made it.
Twenty-five-plus trophies. Real 944 pistons, painted bright, etched acrylic insignias where the crank goes. They are the most 944 thing imaginable.
And sponsors bring their own. Some categories show up that weren't on the printed list. That's how it goes. The car show is the moment all the awards across the weekend land in one room.
What To Expect
