Q&A
What is the process?
You start with MSF Level 1 certification, which is an online course that can be taken at your leisure. Then you sign up for MSF Level 2 certification which we will be conducting on Sat & Sun at 944Fest this year. When you're done and you have passed both courses, you will receive your MSF Level 2 HPDE instructor certification.
Why should I get MSF certified?
Becoming an instructor is a great way to help others learn and explore the world of HPDE. Becoming a Nationally Reconized MSF Level 2 Certified instructor opens up the opportunity to instruct and drive with many different clubs, usually at a significantly reduced rate. If you like HPDE, teaching and track time, then this is for you.
Can I do my Level 2 training and drive in the HPDE?
Yes, we have developed the schedule so that drivers in the Sat / Sun intermediate (B) group can both participate in the HPDE and the Level 2 training without a conflict.
What does it cost?
MSF Level 2 certification at 944Fest (Sat/Sun) is $225
What is involved for the Level 2 training?
Training starts on August 9 & 10 with two 90min live online classroom sessions. September 2 & 3 we will conduct the on track portion which will consist of 6x 20min role play sessions. During these on track sessions, candidates will take on the roll of instructors while mentors simulate student driving scenarios.
