Over 100 Porsche 944 cars all coming together in one place and time. Today's 944Fest is more than just a car show, it's a weekend packed with activities revolving around the Porsche 944 and an event that no owner will want to miss.

Since its humble beginnings in 1999, the 944Fest has continued to bring Porsche 944 owners together around a common interest in the their cars. Every year the event grows and this years 944Fest proves to be no exception. 944Fest 2008 will be a jam packed weekend including a DE event, 944 Cup Racing, Car Show, Dyno Runs, Dinner, Camping and plenty of good people who love their Porsche 944 cars. This is one event any Porsche 944 owner does not want to miss.

Come drive your Porsche 944 on one of America's fastest world class road courses. Speed down the straights of MidOhio Sports Car Course, the same track that is home to the stops on the Grand-Am Rolex Series and American Le Mans racing. 
If you have never been on the racetrack before this is the perfect opportunity to make it your first. We would like to welcome everyone into the exciting world of DE events in a comfortable setting which will include a personal instructor for every novice run group driver. For the experienced solo drivers, you will have your own rungroup as well. Come out and take some laps around MidOhio accompanied by other drivers of your same skill level.

Saturday and Sunday all 944Fest participants will have the amazing opportunity to watch the 944Cup series wheel to wheel championship racing. The 944Cup series is a fast paced wheel to wheel racing class that is comprised of only the Porsche 944 model. Competitors from all over the country come with their race prepared Porsche 944 cars to compete for the championship. We are so lucky to be able to host our 944Fest event on the same weekend , and at the same venue, as this race. The 944Cup series races alone will provide endless entertainment for any Porsche 944 enthusiast.

We would like to encourage all participants to shine up their 944 and enter into our annual Porsche 944 car show. Hoses will be available on site to wash off any road grime from your treck to the fest or any track dust from the DE the day before. With trophy classes ranging from Best of Show to our High Mileage Award, everyone has an opportunity to compete. Come out and show everyone what your unique Porsche 944 has to offer!!

No matter if you think you have the highest horsepower Porsche 944 out there or you just want to see what your old girl will pull, the dyno competition is where it is at. Come put your Porsche 944 on a real Dyno and see what it can do. See how it stacks up to everyone else and get the print out to prove it. This is the area where sometimes the prettiest is not always the fastest and any trash talking gets settled. Lets see what you got??

Saturday night, after the Drivers Education event, there will be a big dinner banquet. This is included for all spectator and/or track participants and is hosted on site at the track by NASA. Dinner and drinks are provided free of charge along with some of the weekend's best door prizes. This is just another part of the 944Fest this year that no Porsche 944 enthusiast will want to miss.

There are plenty of Hotels near by but most 944Fest participants prefer to camp on site. It has become somewhat of a tradition and this year's Fest is no different. Included in your 944Fest spectator or track admission is the use of on site camping facilities, showers and restrooms. Come pitch a tent next to the ole Porsche 944 and stay up late by the bon fire or turn in early on your private corner of the MidOhio Sports Car Complex.
